Left: “Copenhagen City Hall (Danish: Københavns Rådhus) is the headquarters of the municipal council as well as the Lord Mayor of the Copenhagen Municipality, Denmark. The building is situated on The City Hall Square in central Copenhagen. The current building was inaugurated in 1905. It was designed by the architect Martin Nyrop in the National Romantic style but with inspiration from the Siena City Hall.”
Right: “Hans Christian Andersen (2 April 1805 – 4 August 1875) was a Danish author. Although a prolific writer of plays, travelogues, novels and poems, Andersen is best remembered for his fairy tales. These fairy tales, which have been translated into more than 125 languages, have become culturally embedded in the West’s collective consciousness. Some of his most famous include ‘The Emperor’s New Clothes’, ‘The Little Mermaid’, ‘The Nightingale’, ‘The Snow Queen’, ‘The Ugly Duckling’, ‘Thumbelina’, and many more.”
